Title: Non-critical bug: PL list of processes can show ghost program
Post by: Arbor on July 31, 2013, 08:21:43 PM
I have the latest PL (auto-update) on Windows 7 32-bit.  Early today I briefly ran QuickPar, then exited from it.  Hours later I found that it still showed up in the PL process list (see attached screen shots, just below the shaded process).  Of course PL can't act on QuickPar since that isn't really running; at least, Task Manager doesn't see it.  I didn't think to try Process Explorer.  Later I rebooted for other reasons, and now the ghost entry is gone.  I printed a log when I first noticed the problem, but it doesn't even mention QuickPar so I did not attach it here.

Thx

Arbie

Yes, I saw this sometimes, and the workaround is restart PL. :)

Thanks for reporting this! I'm looking into it.
