Process Lasso Install Assistant window doesn't show up though installhelper.exe is running ( in ProcessExplorer "Properties" dialog, after I click "Bring to Front" button, it says "No visible windows found for this process"). Can't reconfigure the way Process Lasso starts.
In Safe Boot all works fine.

Please check any security software you have installed to see if it blocked the execution of InstallHelper.exe. Otherwise, I'm not immediately sure of the cause, but we'll spend some time trying to reproduce issue.

I did not encounter this message during use. Is your browser blocking the execution of InstallHelper.exe?

When dealing with the issue where the Process Lasso Install Assistant window doesn't show up but the installhelper.exe process is running, it's helpful to troubleshoot the problem step by step. Since it works fine in Safe Boot, this indicates that something in the normal startup environment is interfering with the installer.

When users encounter issues with reconfiguring the way Process Lasso starts, it typically involves difficulties in modifying its startup settings. Process Lasso, a popular software for optimizing system performance and managing processes, allows users to customize its behavior during system startup. Problems may arise if users lack administrative privileges, or if there are conflicts with existing system configurations or security software.

If the Process Lasso Install Assistant doesn't appear, try disabling startup programs, running as administrator, and turning off antivirus/firewall. If the issue continues, re-download the installer or contact support.

You can use PowerShell or the Command Line to automate changing Lasso Profiles. This can help you automate the application of specific settings based on certain criteria. Use scripts or automation tools like AutoHotkey, AutoIt.

Hi,

I think the process is running may be due to a conflict with other startup programs or services. Since it works in Safe Boot, try these steps:

Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot by disabling non-Microsoft startup programs and services to identify the conflict.

Type msconfig in the Run dialog (Win+R), go to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.
Go to the Startup tab in Task Manager and disable startup items.
Restart and try running Process Lasso's installer again.
Disable Antivirus: Temporarily disable your antivirus or security software, as it may be interfering with the installation process.

Run as Administrator: Right-click on the installhelper.exe and select Run as Administrator to ensure it has the necessary permissions.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, reinstall Process Lasso in Safe Boot and reconfigure settings from there.

Thanks
Thanks

If the Process Lasso Install Assistant window isn't showing up and you're encountering issues with installhelper.exe, Sometimes, windows may open off-screen. Right-click on the desktop and go to Display settings. If you have multiple displays, make sure that the display settings are configured correctly, and that windows aren't being sent to a non-visible area. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and find installhelper.exe. End the process and then try launching the Process Lasso Install Assistant again.
