Recently you added a change which made Process Lasso turn itself off last when shutting down. This was a good move and made shutdown run a bit faster for me. Is it possible to make Process Lasso be one of the first processes to start at start up? I think boot up would be alot faster if it was running sooner and could help boost a few of the more sluggish apps. get moving earlier on.

Good suggestion, I'll see what I can do.

Have you tried configuring PL to run as a service?  That would make it start sooner, I believe.

Yes I did when I first tried PL. I believe I decided against it due to some negative result but I no longer remember why.  :D I will experiment with it and see if I get the results I'm after.
