Title: Responsiveness not accurate?
Post by: ilikefree on March 14, 2012, 10:16:39 PM
I updated the Process Lasso software today and are now getting a lot of unresponsive windows and general freezing yet when I hover over the icon it says Resp:100%
Is there a way to remove the update?

Thank you, Yes I am a registered user, I have kept the updates and looked for the problem in other places, I had Windows updates that day as well and more likely to be caused by them.
System is back to normal now.

For what it's worth, the responsiveness sensitivity was increased in the last version, so you are not imagining things at all. I am trying to set the right balance, and it could be too low. In version 6, this problem will be resolved (already 50% done with the code to do it).

I split the thread into two since the original poster had an issue, but the thread got 'hijacked' a bit.

Some posts may be outta whack.

The final answer to your real question, I think, which I *did not previously give*, is that an application window itself can fail to respond, and therefore be frozen/unresponsive. However, system responsiveness itself remains fine.
