Title: How to specify path and filename?
Post by: garyamort on April 12, 2012, 12:31:22 PM
I have 2 copies of chrome installed:
C:\Users\gmort\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe
and
C:\Users\gmort\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

I tried setting specific rules for each using
Chrome SxS\Application\chrome.exe
Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

and
"Chrome\Application SxS\chrome.exe"
"Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

and
"C:\Users\gmort\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application SxS\chrome.exe"
"C:\Users\gmort\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

and

C:\Users\gmort\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application SxS\chrome.exe
C:\Users\gmort\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

I tried with both "check pathname" enabled and disabled.

Everytime I made a change, I shutdown and restarted Process Lasso.

The only option that seems to work is chrome.exe, none of the other configurations did anything to either copy.

I'm using Process Lasso Pro 64 v5.10.70

It's not the end of the world, I just wanted to give the Canary[the dev version of Chrome] a higher priority, cpu, and also limit it's number of processes  since I don't need as many copies opened when developing.

Thanks for reporting this. I will have to look into it more deeply to give you an answer. I'll try to get to it this week, after taxes ;p.
