Title: ParkingControl-CPU Parking
Post by: krelsien on April 20, 2020, 09:20:35 AM
To have all my cores running do I use the AC on enable or disable and the battery enable or disable?when I try to enable the AC to 100% and I click apply and OK after I close that window and look at it again its set to disable and at 50% does anyone know why this is doing that?

Hi, when you are editing power plan, did you make sure it is an active plan (there a "make active" option next to power plan dropdown menu)?

To disabled parking (make all cores enabled) you want to disable it, which should show 100% value with it disabled.
The same for AC or battery.

It sounds like you're talking about core usage settings (CPU power management) in something like your BIOS/UEFI, Windows power plan, or possibly ThrottleStop / Intel XTU or another CPU tuning utility — and your system keeps resetting the "AC" performance setting (plugged-in) to Disabled or 50% after you apply it.
