For games is it ok to set it to Above Normal priority. I know High Priority is not recommended as the mouse and keyboard might not get priority.

We've not seen cases where use of Above Normal causes any problems, and even the High priority class only very rarely causes issues.
Foreground boosting is a good option, now more than it once was. On heterogenous systems, such as Intel 12+, the boost in priority class will have a secondary benefit of encouraging the scheduler to keep the foreground process's threads off the E-cores.
