Hi everyone, I just downloaded Process Lasso v9.0.0.290 and Parkcontrol today, but everything is just greek to me. I don't understand which options to select and the possible things i can do in order to make my game (dota 2) run more smoothly and efficiently. I have searched the forums, but i was only able to find guides for older versions of PL, so i am not sure if certain things are the same as this current version (v9.0.0.290) of PL. I am a newbee, so a step-by-step would be great! Thank you in advance!

Hi! Welcome to Process Lasso and ParkControl! Here's a quick guide to optimize for Dota 2:
Process Lasso:
Enable ProBalance: Keep it on to manage system responsiveness.
Set Dota 2 Priority: Right-click dota2.exe in the process list, set Priority Class to Above Normal or High, and CPU Affinity to all cores.
ParkControl:
Disable Core Parking: Turn off core parking to keep CPU cores active.
Set High Performance: Choose the High-Performance power plan and set both min/max CPU states to 100%.

Hey Wersed! Don't sweat the interface—the basic setup hasn't changed much in v9. Just open Dota 2, find dota2.exe under the Active Processes tab in Process Lasso, right-click it, and set the Application Power Profile to Bitsum Highest Performance.
Then, right-click it again to set CPU Priority -> Always to Above Normal. Finally, open ParkControl, select the Bitsum Highest Performance profile from the drop-down, make sure core parking is disabled, and hit apply!
