Whenever i open process lasso it shows this. i cant click it to open the GUI. The processes are running correctly though. what should I do to fix this situation?
I reviewed previous tickets and we had one other user report a problem like that back in 2022.
In his case, it was somehow related to dark mode support, and importing the below registry file and restarting Process Lasso resolved it. Try that and let me know how it goes!
Also please report your Windows edition and version as shown in "About your PC".

Update: the preview shows the GUI. But I cant open it
just restarted and it worked!

Given that the processes are running correctly, this could likely be a UI rendering issue. I'd recommend checking for any system display settings or even corrupt user profiles that may be preventing the GUI from appearing. You might also want to try creating a new user profile and launching Process Lasso there to see if the issue persists. If that doesn't work, running the app in Safe Mode could help identify if third-party software or background processes are interfering with its GUI.
You can right-click on the Process Lasso tray icon, select Exit to close it completely, and restart Process Lasso from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
Check if the GUI is hidden or running in the background:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Find Process Lasso (processlasso.exe or lassogui.exe) in the Processes list.
- If it is running but not visible, try End Task and reopening it.

Haha, no worries—restarting didn't even cross my mind either until you mentioned it! I'll give that a shot first and see if it clears up the white screen issue. Thanks for the registry file too—I didn't realize dark mode could be tied to this. I'll download and apply it if the restart doesn't do the trick. Will let you know how it goes!
