Run into a minor issue.
I recently started using Directory Opus, a replacement for File Explorer. When closed, Opus has a background task. Unfortunately, this background task stops the computer from going to sleep (no idea why). I do use IdleSaver.
Fortunately, one of the settings in Opus disables the background task on startup and closing. Once I do that, then sleep starts working again with no issues.
I'm pretty new to Lasso, is there a way to have both working together?
Many Thanks, Nigel.
It sounds like the issue is with the programming of Directory Opus. It's background task apparently instructs the PC not to sleep, presumably for some reason. Unfortunately, Process Lasso can't override that behavior, so I recommend continuing with your current strategy and/or contacting the developer of Directory Opus for a resolution. If I've misunderstood, let me know!
Open Process Lasso => Find dopus.exe in the process list => right click => Classification => Set it to Allowed to Sleep. This will help Windows ignore the Directory Opus process when determining whether the system can go to sleep.
