Title: Heterogeneous thread scheduling
Post by: Ramesh on February 12, 2025, 09:21:01 PM
I want to use Process Lasso Bitsum Highest Performance profile but without the Heterogeneous thread scheduling in Park Control using Prefer Performant Cores but Automatic. Whenever I click apply after choosing Automatic it reverts to Prefer Performant Cores after a computer restart. Even the Ultimate Performance profile does this.
I'm now using Highest Performance & got it to use Automatic. How do I fix this as certain games don't play nice with Prefer Performant Cores?
Thank you kindly

What CPU model is this?

Chipset drivers and OEM installed power management software have been known to revert some changes, but it's curious that you are able to successfully make changes to High Performance, but not BHP or Ultimate Performance. When do the settings revert? Immediately the next time you open ParkControl, or after a system restart?

Can you clarify if the settings revert immediately after opening ParkControl, or if it only happens after a system restart?

By reinitializing the Bitsum Highest Performance profile and then immediately setting the heterogeneous thread scheduling to "Automatic" within ParkControl, you should be able to make this setting persistent across reboots.
