Title: Park Control Safety
Post by: TomasCremin on March 25, 2025, 04:38:54 AM
Hey guys, I recently heard that using park control to unpark your cpu cores can help increase performance in various games. I am a little hesitant to use it because I am a little concerned of the effect it can have on my cpu. Can using the "bitsum highest performance mode option" in this program harm my cpu, or should it be safe to use?

Don't worry, it is perfectly safe to use and will not harm your CPU.

Glad that you repied! I've been worrying about this because some people keep saying that they concerned about how the bitsum highest performance mode option in this program harm the cpu

Using Bitsum's "Highest Performance" mode is generally safe, it mainly prevents your CPU from downclocking or parking cores, which can improve responsiveness in some games. However, it may increase power usage and heat over time. If your cooling is solid and you're not running it 24/7, it shouldn't harm your CPU.

Thanks for explaining Park Control safety! I was also worried about CPU damage, so hearing it's safe from a software engineer is really helpful. Good to know the highest performance mode won't harm my processor.
