Title: Regarding Probalance and game
Post by: tech1m on May 28, 2025, 04:17:17 PM
Hi!

First of all thank you for this amazing app, i have used the pro version before and decided to get it again =)

Now to my problem/question:

While playing Battlefield 5, i saw in the Process Lasso logg that ProBalance acted on BF5, that 100% is a bad thing right? and i should manually exclude it from ProBalance in this case, right?

Answers is much appreciated!

Many thanks /Kim

Not really. ProBalance is designed to maintain system responsiveness by temporarily de-prioritizing background processes when the system is under high CPU load.

To keep Geometry Arrow running smoothly, you need to make sure libraries like DirectX, Visual C++ Redistributable and .NET Framework are updated to the latest version from Microsoft's website.

Yes, if ProBalance is acting on Battlefield 5, it can negatively impact performance. Since BF5 is a high-performance game, you should manually exclude it from ProBalance to prevent unwanted CPU priority adjustments.

I have also encountered similar situations when playing heavy games, ProBalance sometimes interferes with the game's progress. Usually, with full-screen and high-performance games (like BF5), it is best to put the game in the exclusion list to avoid being affected.

In addition, you can monitor the log a few more times to make sure it is not just a false positive (ProBalance interferes but does not actually cause lag). If you see FPS being affected, then exclude is the safe choice.

having ProBalance kick in during BF5 can cause unwanted stutters. (https://theheartopia.com/)..

Just right-click the BF5 process and select "Exclude from ProBalance" to keep your gameplay smooth and uninterrupted.

Not necessarily bad—ProBalance can briefly act on Battlefield V under heavy CPU load. For best gaming performance, it's recommended to exclude BF5 from ProBalance, but it's optional if you're not noticing issues.
