Title: Startup Config Profile and GPU Priority
Post by: MrSn1ckers on July 17, 2025, 03:43:54 PM
Hi!

I have been using process lasso for a while now and was wondering the following things:

1. can you somehow set a config profile to start with in process lasso? i have the switcher set up for specific apps but if i shut off my pc before closing those apps i will start process lasso with my last used profile instead of my standard one.

2. how exactly does gpu priority work? is it simply a convenient way to toggle a setting already available in windows similar to how cpu priority works or is it a completely new thing?

appreciate all of your hard work!

You can create a Config Profile Switcher rule for your standard (default) config profile that matches "*" (everything) and put it at the bottom of the list, as shown in the screenshot below.

It's a Windows process setting that is of use when there is contention for GPU resources, something that is increasingly common given AI workloads.

Hope this helps! Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
