While using Actions Log's filter box to sift through a flood of process spawns , I was trying various combinations of "exclude" filters. In the process of doing this, the entire Actions Log pane was cleared out.
I'm not sure the exact combo that triggered it, but it was while doing back-to-back filterings like "!process1 !process2", "-process1", "-process1 -process2", etc.
I know the log file itself still exists and the Actions Log is just displaying from it, but it's still useful having the directly accessible pane vs. having to do this through the Log window. I'll keep an eye on what combination of filter query wiped the pane.
Aside from treating this, is there a way to refresh the Actions Log to repopulate it with X amount (or Y time window) of recent log entries?
I love the filter ability, it's very helpful for troubleshooting, especially being able to filter out (or for) "spam" like "conhost" floods. I also really like that it takes into account all data fields, even "Actions" and "More info fields" to be being able to temp-exclude things "restraint", "priority", "terminated", etc.
Hmm, I'm not sure what happened. We'll try to reproduce and/or theorize on the cause, but if you develop further information, please do let us know.
There's not currently any way to filter the log by time or count. Improved log viewing functionality could definitely be built out, and we'll keep that on the radar.
Thanks!
