Title: Power Profiles
Post by: Vernality on January 20, 2026, 11:03:24 PM
I tried out the application power profiles feature on Process Lasso but have come across an issue. Basically even though I removed all applications from the power profiles list, my windows power plan still changes when I launch one of the programs that were on the list. I've tried uninstalling and the power plan would still change. I genuinely have no ideas on how to fix this obnoxious issue and would like to hear any suggestions

What does the Process Lasso log say when this happens? Any power plan event by Process Lasso will be logged there. If you don't see anything, you can install ParkControl (https://bitsum.com/parkcontrol/) and use menu item "Tools > Show Power Plan Events" to see exactly what process is responsible for the switch of the power plan. If this still happened even after uninstalling Process Lasso, then it's most likely there is another cause.
