Hi everyone,
I've been experimenting with Process Lasso to improve performance while gaming, and I'm curious about the best settings for browser-based HTML5/WebGL games.
Unlike traditional PC games, browser games run inside Chrome or another browser process, so I'm not sure whether using CPU Sets, Performance Mode, ProBalance exclusions, or a specific power profile makes a noticeable difference.
I regularly test different browser games on BunaGames (https://bunagames.com/), especially racing, action, and WebGL games, and I'm mainly trying to reduce occasional frame drops when several browser tabs are open at the same time.
For people who use Process Lasso with Chrome or Edge:
1. Do you recommend excluding the browser from ProBalance while gaming?
2. Is Performance Mode useful for WebGL/HTML5 games?
3. Would assigning specific CPU cores to the browser improve consistency, or is it better to leave Windows scheduling alone?
4. Are there any Process Lasso settings that should specifically be avoided with browser games?
I'd be interested to hear what settings others are using and whether you've noticed a real improvement in frame times or responsiveness.
