I'm curious about what people consider most important when choosing a photographer for a special occasion. For me, natural expressions and genuine emotions matter more than perfectly arranged poses.
While looking through different photography ideas recently, I came across Carrie Evans and started wondering how others decide which style suits them best.
Do you prefer candid images that capture unexpected moments, or do traditional portraits still have more appeal? I'd also like to know whether meeting the photographer beforehand helps people feel more relaxed during the session.
What has been your experience with professional photography, and what would you recommend to someone booking their first session?
