Title: Installing Process Lasso Pro as a service in Windows Vista Home Premium
Post by: crottpa on January 03, 2009, 09:57:04 AM
Hi,

How do I do that? Vista Home Premium doesn't do secpol.msc     >:(. Bizarre decision by Microsoft.

Regards

That is strange that they removed the local security policy msc snap-in that from Vista Home, that seems ridiculous.

You can still assign that right to users using the NTRIGHTS console mode utility.

Download (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9D467A69-57FF-4AE7-96EE-B18C4790CFFD&displaylang=en)
Docs (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/279664)

Be sure to open a console with administrative rights, then run it with the following command line parameters (unverified):

NTRIGHTS -u myusername +r SeServiceLogonRight
