Title: Extracting the DD-WRT Image for the routerstation image
Post by: linas on January 27, 2010, 05:06:55 PM
Hi

Trying to extract the Ubiquiti routerstation image version fails (no rootfs dir is extracted)
and it seems that the problem is with the lzma extraction which shows:

bash# ./src/squashfs-3.0/unsquashfs-lzma -dest TEST RS.dd-wrt/image_parts/squashfs-3-lzma.img
Can't find a SQUASHFS superblock on RS.dd-wrt/image_parts/squashfs-3-lzma.img

any ideas?

thanks

Only certain DD-WRT firmware images are supported, and that platform's firmware image format probably isn't one of them.

Yeah I kinda figured that much.
What does it require to support this image?

Research. Work. Time. Its not something I'll be doing.
