Title: ProcessGoverner uses high amount of RAM (>1GB)
Post by: klayvessel on April 16, 2019, 03:21:47 PM
I leave my workstation (notebook) running a long time--power suspend but no reboots--and Process Lasso related ProcessGovernor process over time Private Bytes usage can grow to >1GB RAM. The netbook is setup for a number of larger Virtual Machines so has 64GB RAM. I just noticed this again today so checked updates to see if anything had changed related to RAM consumption but didn't see any though I've updated to the latest release. Restarting ProcessGoverner (as happened automatically after the version upgrade) Private Bytes is back to ~5MB. This has been true across several of the latest versions.

The last I had installed before updating today was v9.0.0.552; now I'm running v9.1.0.6.

Thanks for the report. We will get to the bottom of this.

Can you please send your INI configuration contents (copy via 'File / Manually edit configuration file") to support@bitsum.com? We may later request your logs and a dump of the governor process, but will first attempt to reproduce with your settings.
