beta ver 5.1.0.14 error message at startup in XP SP3

After I updated to 5.1.0.14 from 5.1.0.13 as soon as PL starts a error message "error with power profile resolution " take 6 times clicking same popup window till PL starts and then another 3 times to clear it .

I don't see anything listed in log file on these errors .

Edit: I tried to modify prolasso.ini lines , removing values or setting to false but same error pop-up message comes up .

PowerSaver_IdleTime=0
LogEnergySaverEvents=True
DisableEnergySaverWhenMultimediaRunning=True
DisableEnergySaverWhenGameRunning=True

I can confirm, after updating from v 5.1.0.13 beta...However, I wasn't counting how many times the message occurred.

Thanks. I apparently rushed that build out a little fast, though I could say that is what betas are for. There will be another release tonight. I will likely see this during testing or code review, I already have found the cause.

This will be fixed in a beta I'll issue shortly. For now, I've disabled updates from beta .13 to beta .14. Whether I'll issue an immediate fix, then issue a secondary build, we'll see.

Yup, No problem , I was just trying to give as much info to track down if it wasn't common to all XP OS .

Must be something in the very beginning, cause it pops up so fast before PL even tries to load .

Yes, it was an error in the initialization code, just as you surmised. I would have caught it during code review and testing. I nearly retested that build in XP, but fell asleep. Still kicking myself for that.

I am uploading a quick fix to this before proceeding, v5.1.0.14a. It will have a newer internal version number, so get pushed out. This was simply some debug code I had added to the initialization of the power profile control class, for beta versions only. I neglected to account for 2K/XP.

yes, works as it should now, no errors messages .
