Version number confusion cleared up

Yesterday, right before sleeping, I issued what I intended to be a silent update. However, a mistake in the installer version number caused some mass confusion. I've now corrected that, issued v5.0.0.52, and have pushed this very minor update out. I hated to push another update out prior to v5.1, but it was needed.

Users of Germany, Austria, Japan, and Switzerland will not be notified of this update due to pending considerations that must be taken care of. I am working on it as best I can.

I must admit, running a worldwide marketing effort, site development, product development, and .. well.. everything .. does get overwhelming at times, so I do apologize for those times when mistakes are made.

I really can't complain. After all, success is a good thing! And the most important thing is that any mistakes get rectified quickly.

I am one of those who know you provide the best software and support possible, keep up great work ;).
We all need to remember successes, as everyone will point us our mistakes out.

Thank you ;). Honestly, my biggest fear right now is once you make a mistake, then get in a hurry to fix it, there is the tendency to compound the mistake with other mistakes. So, I've got a lot of work to do to verify all systems tonight, and then try to get back to v5.1. The German timing didn't help matters much.

Hey, its no biggie. Everyone makes mistakes. At least you admitted it, and fixed the mistake right away. As the other poster mention, your support is first rate.

Thanks, I've got a new beta coming now, shortly. I hope to have v5.1 out real soon. I mean, I gotta take the leap at some point. That said, I can't do so until a few outstanding issues are fixed.

I am extremely lucky to have supportive users more than anything. So many software companies don't, and that's usually because they treat their users so poorly (exploiting them and squeezing every last cent out of them). I try to do better. Of course, I can't compare to a completely and 100% free and open source project, but I also have to put food on the table. I do author numerous freeware and open source projects, so I hope that makes up for not all projects being 100% free.

Well, back to work.
