Win 11 CDD priority on 9950x3d, can Process Lasso priorityze CCD0 ?

Hi, I upgraded to a Ryzen 9 9950x3d last week, installed the lastest BIOS, AMD drivers, and Win 11 24H2.

I observe that when launching my CPU intensive applications (mainly Win64 apps and Python scripts), Win 11 prioritizes the CCD1, and only starts using the CCD0 cores when all the CCD1 cores are busy.

I guess that this might be because on the 7950x3d the CCD1 cores were faster than the CCD0 cores for general purpose (non gaming) applications, and Msft did not change that policy for the more recent 9950x3d, where the CCD0 doesn't have anymore a frequency penalty.

Hence, I would like that Win 11 reverses its policy, i.e. prioritizes the CCD0 (instead of the the CCD1) and only starts using the CCD1 when all the CCD0 cores are busy. But I do NOT want to entirely park or disable the CCD1 like in the "gaming mode".

Can Process Lasso simply do that ?

Although you can set manual rules to direct processes to your chosen CCD, adjusting the scheduling preferences of the OS as a whole on AMD platforms is not currently possible. We continue to innovate and research though, and I'll reply again here if there is any news this.
