Help!
I have never seen this mode under Power options, when this was added to Windows 10 ? Also should I use it over "High performance" mode ? (having gaming PC)

Bitsum Highest Performance is a power plan installed by Process Lasso or ParkControl. It offers some performance advantages over the system stock High Performance power plan.

Thank you for sharing that information! How do I install Bitsum Highest Performance?

Jeremy Collake

If you don't see it because your system is using power modes, you can use menu item 'Settings / Experimental / Always Show Bitsum Highest Performance'. That should install it.

I paid for the Bitsum Highest Performance and it is installed along with Lasso. Why does it automatically switch to Max Performance Overlay, when I set it to Bitsum Highest Performance? It is not remaining set at Bitsum Highest Performance.

You mean when Performance Mode engages it is switching to Max Performance Overlay?

Open menu item "Options / Power / Performance Mode / Select Power Profile..." and ensure it's using Bitsum Highest Performance. Let me know how it goes!

FYI, Bitsum Highest Performance mode comes with the free app.

When you register Park Control, you get access to "Dynamic Boost". It is useful.
I use Dynamic Boost to set my power mode to better battery life when it has been idle for 5mins.

Incidentally...
When I set Highest Performance mode, my 4080mobile begins to thermal throttle within 5mins. It normally runs under 70c. So I don't use that mode.
