I hate truncating my sentences like that just to fit them into a subject line. Anyway, my PC's Power settings are at "High Performance" by default. Is it really necessary for me to classify all game processes and media player processes as such? Or can I get by with just excluding them from ProBalance restraint?

You can get by with just excluding them from restraint. HOWEVER, the classification may be used more in future versions, so I can only say this is true for the current version (and any v5 version to come).
