Do you use EFS?

No, because I tend to lose data with it - the process of backing up and restoring keys is not clear enough even in Vista+

No, because I use TrueCrypt, BitLocker, etc..

For some reason I'm too paranoid even considering EFS - BUT I've been done some experimenting on test rig and on VM

The thing with EFS is that your filenames are still completely visible, and it is very easy to lose your certificate - despite new Vista mechanism. Still, it remains more practical to use than TrueCrypt in many scenarios. My laptop, now it has TrueCrypt encryption on its boot drive, but doing so for a complicated desktop setup with multiple hard drives is much more difficult (at least in my particular case).

I voted the 2nd option. I can't say I knew about the file names being completely visible thing before, since I have never encrypted anything on my computer.

I don't have a need to, as I am the only one with access to my computer. ;)
