Some recent posts and accounts were lost - not deleted

Some recent posts, or even accounts, were lost. I inadvertently didn't backup the database before doing an emergency server recovery after the network stack and nameserver configuration became so out of whack it was clear it was faster to just restore an image from yesterday. I clicked the button too fast and lost a few hours of the database. I do have a later database that I will merge in, if it has anything newer. I've got hourly database backups running now too, as opposed to bi-daily, while maintenance on the server continues.
