Hide Version error in vista or 7

I have an application that i need to hide the version for security reasons. Its running OK on my XP OS but someone report to me that the application is crashing when they run to there vista or 7 OS... Can anyone give solution on this probs?

In the setting I only check to hide the Version in resource that's all then I compress it..
