Thanks for "edit rules." It's a really nice functionality to see your most important changes to process scheduling.

I discovered a few things around the column handling and re-sizing that do not work as expected
and even destroy your previous adjusted settings by not doing the "right" (expected) thing.

Here is my proposal to change the functionality so that it works how it should, and I really hope that you like this proposal.
Many thanks upfront.

To "Show all columns"
Problem description: Besides showing all columns, it also changes the column width and makes them so narrow that you can't read the column titles anymore.
The issues: Two. It destroys your last chosen column size settings and makes columns too small.
User experience: Its frustrating if the function destroys your last adjustments by making more things than the name implies.
Proposal: Change the function to work as a toggle. Toggle between the "previously selected" columns and "showing all columns". Remember column sizes as they are before the toggle operation, to not lose adjustments of column sizes, be they manual adjustments or by auto resizing.

To "Auto resize columns"
Proposal: should be offered in two flavors
- Auto-resize Columns (title)      -> strict sizing according to column title, to see full titles everywhere
- Auto-resize Columns (title+values) -> same as before, additionally make a column broader to see all values
Rationale: The first gives you a better overview about all columns and their meaning. The 2nd adds some space if your demand is to see all values just in case they need more space.

To "Hide empty columns"
The issues: Two. It destroys your last chosen column size settings and makes columns too small.
Proposal: Change the function to work as a toggle. Toggle between the "previously selected" columns and "hiding empty columns". Remember column sizes as they are before the toggle operation to not lose adjustments of column sizes, be they manual adjustments or by auto resizing.

Feature request:
Provide the possibility of saving and and recalling your preferred columns and their sizing.
- Store column selection+sizing
- Recall column selection+sizing
