I have a Dell studio XP running windows 7 64bit, 4 gigs of ram. I have the latest version of PL and it updates all the time. I have 2 browsers i use Chrome and Firefox. Last night both were open, i have 2 monitors. Firefox locked up and my computers cpu when into a frenzy. I want to know how to prevent this or any other program from doing this again. There was a topic in which chrome does not need controlled. The question is how do keep firefox from crashing my pc. It is the latest version 7.01. How much cpu usage  and memory usage should i set? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I also have seen this done on KMplayer as well.
Thank you

You could use the Process Watchdog feature of Process Lasso to terminate or restart Firefox or KMPlayer if they get out of hand for too long a period (use too much CPU or RAM). However, that may or may not work well for your situation. It depends on the cause, which is unknown. You may have to play around to discover what works for you.
