Title: Always falls back to 'High Performance' after shutting down Steam games
Post by: Sethos on April 04, 2021, 06:00:58 AM
Hey,

Recently I noticed my power plan sitting at High Performance for some reason and I couldn't figure out why, as it's not a power plan I use. I use Balanced by default and manually set all my games to Bitsum Highest Performance. I have "Enable Automatic Detection (e.g. Steam) unticked.

Then I realized, every time I shut down games on Steam, it reverts to High Performance. Starts at Balanced, runs Bitsum Highest Performance when the game is active and then back to High Performance, meaning I manually have to change it back to Balanced every time I've played a Steam game.

Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere that controls this behaviour or am I encountering a bug? Is something else pushing the High Performance power profile?

Thanks

What does the Process Lasso log say when you exit a game (and up in High Performance)?
