Title: Reversion Firmware for the TP-Link TL-WDR4300
Post by: Jeremy Collake on June 13, 2013, 04:26:09 PM
This reversion firmware for the TP-Link TL-WDR4300 has *Not yet been tested*. I'll remove this warning after I've done so. I am fairly confident it works, and I did test a prior image generated the same way.

This firmware image will revert to stock/vendor firmware a TP-Link TL-WDR4300 flashed with an aftermarket firmware like Gargoyle or OpenWrt. After flashing this image, the router will boot back up to the TP-Link vendor firmware.

This image will also work with other models of routers, including the TP-Link TL-WDR3600 and TP-Link TL-WDR4310. However, you should use an appropriate image for those routers, else your router will mistakenly think it's the WDR4300 when it boots back up.

This image is the output of new scripts in the Firmware Mod Kit that 'transplant' one firmware's contents into another of a differing format.

RAR archive password is 'firmware'
