Somehow WfpReplace and my 'Hacking Windows File Protection (WFP)' articles got displaced during the web site upgrade. They are available once again. It seems many people have found WfpReplace particularly handy for replacing WFP protected files, as there are numerous mentions of it on the web. I'm glad to now have restored this free utility and my free research on WFP.
Note that both the article (which is terribly written, I know) and WfpReplace may need updating for Vista.
Note that WfpDeprotect is now available. I whipped this little utility out a couple weeks ago. It is up-to-date and should work to deprotect WFP protected files for 1 minute, allowing modification or removal. It is free, but as always I hope (or beg) for donations.
