The SMF development team made available a 'responsive' mod to the forum that will allow it to display better on mobile devices. It's not quite the 'full deal', which we'll have to wait until the release of SMF 2.1 for, but it's a good step. Most importantly to web masters, it helps site with their 'mobile friendly' score that Google is now using for SEO ratings.
Of course, our new website has a fully responsive design, shows great on mobile platforms. It's taken much longer to finish than we hoped, and it looks like this 'base site' will always be around. The new site will simply serve as a better store front, with the old site serving up technical knowledge and discussions. For that reason, I've decided that this forum will not be migrated to the new site. Instead, the new site will have it's own forum, or link to this one. The problem with the latter approach (linking to this forum), is that we don't yet have a 'bridge' that allows an account to seamlessly be created on both systems, thus a new account is needed. Probably we'll address that at some point and then this will be the only forum, but until then, we'll have two.
