As anyone who uses my software might know, I am terrible at making things look good. However, I believe this change to the graph has turned out well. It makes it more consistent with usual graphs. Another change I may make is to not advance the background, as most graphs don't.

I like it better. More grid lines means you can make more accurate measurements and adjustments, and can see small changes more easily.
