Hey there, I have a Ryzen 9 9950X, 4090 Super, 64 GB DDR5 6000 MT ram.

Thing is, I still get some micro stutters and no idea what I should do in process lasso to get my game going faster.

What I've tried so far - Normally putting cpu affinity to CCD0 and also putting CPU priority to high. That's about it actually.

I do run discord and chrome and stuff on the side while playing, sometimes stream too.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello shichi! Regarding your problem, I have the following advice:
  • With a powerful configuration like yours, the slight lag may be due to software conflicts, not hardware.
  • In Process Lasso, in addition to CPU affinity, try enabling "Performance Mode" for the game and limit background apps by setting them to "Idle" or "Eco" mode.
  • Finally, temporarily disable Discord overlay, reduce Chrome process load and make sure GPU + chipset drivers are updated to the latest version.

Have you tried checking for interrupts/DPC latency? It may not be a CPU affinity issue, but a driver or some background device that interrupts the system.

I also encountered this problem with a 7950X3D CPU. After using Process Lasso, I tried setting Performance Mode for the game and limiting Discord, OBS to run only on CCD1 (because of less cache), and the game to CCD0 - a clear improvement. In addition, completely disabling Windows Game DVR also helps reduce stutter.
