Timer resolution per app instead of global

This is a thought I always had: why don't Process Lasso give the option to set per app timer resolution? This has been supported by Windows 10 for sometime and it's much preferable in many instances.

It would be nice if the timer resolution was only changed when focused as well, for example, your system uses 1ms, when you focus on a app you set the lowest possible, it would go to 0.5ms or 0.49920ms, when you ALT+TAB out, it backs to 1ms.

This would be really good for power efficiency and performance; as well as some fixes for old games, for example. Some games have bad frame limiters, with a higher timer resolution, you can fix that and get 60FPS instead of some funky number, like 59.4

While this is not about timer resolution, it also would be nice for prevent display sleep to work on that way as well, only preventing sleep when the app with the rule is focused.

Process Lasso is really responsive and improves the quality and frequency of access. With your analysis and sharing, it is really a good idea worth considering and researching more.

We'll absolutely consider that! I've created two tickets to track these suggestions:

1. Per-process timer resolution
2. Prevent Sleep option to only act when target process(es) are in the foreground
