I use Process Lasso to help control my computers that crunch (fold) data for various projects.  It works great, but now I'm at a project that doesn't really make heavy use of the computer's resources and while there one of the more productive cruncher PM that I should consider turning on Swan_Sync.  I've never heard of it but he explained it this way.

"All of the double precision compute is done on the CPU on this application. CPU frequency and latency is very important for this application. SWAN_SYNC removes the latency side of the equation. Instead of the CPU clocking up when it sees an IO, it is always ready for the next instruction from the GPU.  SWAN_SYNC helps with turnaround times as it increases GPU utilization and therefore completes the WU faster than without, due to CPU to GPU latency. "

Evidently since I'm still running Windows 7 I can do this. I haven't tried it yet.

What I would like to know, is there a way to get Process Lasso to do the same thing?   I'm more comfortable let it do this than my fooling around trying to install instructions on the computers.

Thanks
