Efficiency Mode & Thread Scheduling

So, using Bitsum Highest Performance the Thread Scheduler for Short and long processes is Plugged In (AC) "Prefer Performant Processes".
Do I still need to use Efficiency Mode rule "Off" if already using the above power profile. Don't they do same thing? or have I misunderstood what each rule does

"Prefer Performant Processors" is just that, a preference. The E-cores will still be used plenty with that setting. Therefore, you should continue to use Efficiency Mode Off rules for any processes that you want to ensure stay off the E-cores, regardless of any power plan settings.
