Interoperability issue with CCleaner fixed (on their end)

A few weeks ago we discovered that the popular registry and file cleaner CCleaner was inappropriately deleting registry keys critical to the proper operation of Process Lasso. After notifying the author of CCleaner, they promptly fixed the problem.

Those who were affected by this problem would receive several error messages at Process Lasso start-up, saying that a re-installation of Process Lasso was necessary. If you did not see these error messages, you were not affected by this problem.

Users of CCleaner should be sure update to the latest version of that software.

That would explain a couple things.  :D  Thanks alot for finding this faux pas and for taking the steps to get it fixed. I guess I need to re-install PL now and get the newest version of Ccleaner.  :-[

Yes, there is no telling how many users were affected by this problem ;(. I know that sales seem to have went up after the fix to CCleaner was made, but that may have been coincidental.
