Exporting Settings from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 not working

If you export settings on Windows 7 X64 and then you import it to Windows 8.1 X64 will not work.

Hmm, works fine with Windows 8.

What happen if you also import to Windows 7 one, did it works?

I only have 2 computers,one with Win 7 and one with Win 8.1

Yes, that is what I means, change 1 setting on the Win 7, then import back the old one to see did the new setting is getting delete or not.
But I think you can ignore this one.

Try go to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\ProcessLasso\config, then compare with your export one, check if there are the same or not.
This step make sure that did it is a bug for export the config or not.

And also try just copy that one, and paste it at the same location on the Win 8.1 computer.

I have installed Windows 8.1 Pro and now it's working ok. The problem was on Windows 8.1,maybe windows had some problems or something.

Yup, I guess it might be UAC.

Hmm, that's odd. Yes, it could be related to UAC issues.

I made a mistake, long ago, trying to allow users to choose to run Lasso and its core engine elevated or not. This resulted in complex configuration scenarios and startup behaviors, and easy breakage (by me during maintenance ).

In recent builds, Lasso always runs elevated.
