Request: Disable update notification when a limited account is running

Topic - would it be possible to disable any types of update notifications, either when a limited account is running, or maybe better, have the option to only show (and look for) updates when a specific account is running?

I share my computer with my kids, and I don't want them to be able to mess with things like this. I guess there are many options to this, I don't know if limiting "Management Console Startup" to only run when my account is active would solve this?
